I really liked the colors but as you may or may not know I'm not really known to create such soft color palats. But I thought I'd give it a whirl and I really like to first card so I decided to make two. The card format came form a different challenge over at : MoJo Monday. I'm always looking for different card layouts and I really liked this one!! Here's the sample sketch followed by my take...

And for PART 2 of the challenges I decided to play along with...
it was to *BLING* our creations. Although both of the cards on this post have *bling* - it's easrier to see the *BLING* on the second card.

the challenge was to use this photo as inspiration :
and I used the sketch from Caarvarks
I used patterned paper from Kaiser Craft and American Crafts. The flower were created by punching two different sized flower out of tissue paper. And then I inked the edges and glued them all together using a glue pen. I thought the layers kinda looked like the layers of the cabbage.
