Hello Blog-Land!!

In an effort to maintain one of my 2012 Goals

I have a boy birthday card to show you.

Today I used an image from the Stamp Fairy

and colored it in manly colors.

I decided to try a little something different with the dots?!!

I think I like the outcome?!! What about you?

I used the sketch from The Sweet Stop

This sketch is amazing but I have to admit it was a little taxing on my brain? I couldn't figure out how to cut the main strip on an angle and have enough patterned paper to go from egde to edge. I resolved to cutting it extra big and then just trimming all of the pieces once they were on the card.

I also managed to maintain one of my other 2012 goals - to use my cricut more!!

I used the cricut to cut the star. Yeah me!!

Cotton Candy Anyone?

Hello Everyone,

I am back to show you a couple more projects. These two little cuties were really fun for me to create. I love how you can resize digital images and today I am going to show you how versatile it can be to have the same image in different sizes.

This first is a card I made using the sketch from JUGS

and the sketch :

I switched it to have the image and squares on the other side.

And for the second creation :

I resized the image to be WAY smaller and used it to make a tag. I don't usually make tags but I thought it was a perfect size for a tag. I really enjoyed making a tag and I think you may see more of these from me in the future!!

I used my NEW spellbinders - Lacy Squares die to create this fun shape.

(Thanks Hubby - he got this for me for Christmas!!)
