it new challenge day at Fab 'n Funky.

This week our challenge was EMBOSSING.

I decided to go with a holiday card and created this little number :

Isn't this little cat so cute. I could just squeeze it up.

Mojo Monday - Skating Hedgie

Hello Everyone,

I am trying something new. Today I am attempting to blog this post directly from my phone. I am going to keep this post short but I created a holiday card using this weeks Mojo Monday sketch.

Here is my take :

I went with a rectangle card because the card base was already done and I have WAY more A2 envelopes than I do square. LOL!!

Okay well, gotta run but I hope you enjoyed a little holiday inspiration.

Fab 'n Funky - All Stitched Up!!

Hello Everyone,

Happy Wednesday to All.

I am just holding my breath and wishing it was Friday. I am on holidays starting Friday so this week is going incredibly slow.

But that's okay. This afternoon I am going to the waterslides with my daughter, niece and sister-in-law. It should be fun!!

Today I am here to show you a fun, simple, color free card. (I know - a rarity)

This week over at Fab 'n Funky the design team was challenged to include sewing of some sort. I went with the faux stitch. Love that quick and easy technique.

Aren't these little paper bobbins adorable. We were lucky enough this week to use some digital images from Pink Petticoat. The sentiment is also Pink Petticoat.

Here is my interpretation :

I have added texture with a stretchy lace ribbon and the patterened paper is also embossed. (hard to capture in pictures)
