Sketchy Fun!!

Hey Everyone,

I may have seemed a little quiet on the crafting front these past few weeks, but I have definitly been up to my elbows in card making. This past weekend my mom and I hosted a card party fundraiser and raised over $650.00. It was amazing!! All of the money raised is being used to help our "adopted" family that we recieved through the Food Bank and Christmas bureau. Thank you ladies for making this such a wonderful event!!

But what I am really hear to do today is show you a few fun sketches to help you get in the mood for Christmas cards. These are original sketches by yours truely. I will post the sketches here today and later on, I will show you what I have done with them. If you would like to play along and show me what you come up with, please leave a comment and I will pop over and check out how you interpretted the sketches.

Fab 'n Funky - All White in the Night

Good Morning Everyone,

Another great Wednesday morning. It's only great becasue of two things :

1. It's like Thursday today becasue Friday is stat holiday for Remeberance Day

2. It's new challenge day at Fab 'n Funky

This week we were challenged to create a card using ONLY WHITE AND 1 OTHER COLOR. Acckk. I love colors. All sorts of colors. I love mixing and matching colors so this was a REAL challenge for me. I found some great patterned paper in my stash (from last year) and went to work.

I used an adorbale image from our sponsor this week. Stamp Fairy. Isn't this snowman just too cute for words. Althought I didn't mix too many colrs I ended up LOVIN' where this card ended up.

Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Trouble

Happy Wednesday Everyone,

How is everyone doing? Well, I hope you are all fabulous!!

I have a quick project to show you.

It's new challenge day over at Fab 'n Funky.

(And there is also 2 new DT positions available!!)

This week the DT have cooked up some spooky creations just in time for Halloween.

I made these with my daughter. They are for her soccer team.

They are little cone bags full of goodies and topped with a spooky tag.

I must admit that my daughter (age.7) did most of the work. I was just there to help her and inspire her. I try (and it's not easy) to let her be creative and do what she wishes when it comes to crafting. I like for it not to be perfect and to reflect her as an individual. She did all of the stamping, glueing and stuffing. I just did the punching and tie the bags. She is pretty proud of them and I am sure her soccer team will get a kick out of them.

I Miss You

Happy Wednesday

All of my blogging friends.

I have been pretty busy this past week. I finally seem to be falling back into the regular routine. Summer kinda threw me off a bit - and I didn't even know it. But it's nice to have my daughter back in school and back to a regular schedual. Hope everyone else is doing good aswell.

Hey Y'all

It's Wednesday and today is none other than a new challenge at :

This weeks challenge is to create a project that is hard for you. The interprettation is totally up to you. It may be a new technique that is hard for you, a hard theme or a concept that you shy away from. Either way, this week is sure to get the juices flowing.

I decided to go with a Sympathy card. Always needed and I have a really hard time making them. I settled on this little cutie :
