Two for Tuesday

Hello Blogger-land,

Today I am going to show you two cards. Each one is using a Ketto stamp from Stampin' Bella. These stamps have been neglected for a while and it was fun to pull them out. And get them inky.

For this card I used the sketch at :

I am also submitting this card for :
and for the second card

This little doll was created using the sketch at :

I am also submitting it over at
I hope you enjoyed taking a look at these little beauties.
Have a great day,

Until tomorrow...

Bella Challenge

It's been a long time since I have participated in one of my favourite challenges.
I LOVE Bella Stamps.
They are some of the cutest out there.
This week, the challenge was a sketch :
I decided on this little cutie from the Ketto line :

I love the way this turned out. It's so yummy. And the butterflies are velvet. Mmmm, velvet.

Well, I hope you like. Chow for now!!

Christmas in July

Hey Everyone!!
Christmas in July??!!
I know, you are all probably thinking...what is this crazy lady talking about. But it's true!! Today's posting consists of all Christmas cards. I haven't pulled out any of my Christmas stamps or paper in soooo long that it was really fun.

This first set of cards is for a challenge over at Christmas Cards All Year Round. I teach at the same store as one of the designers (Hey Colleen!!) so I thought I would show my support and play along. This months challenge is "anything goes". So here's my take :

Aren't these little penguins adorable??!! I thought so.

Quick and simple. But hey, when you make as many Christmas cards as I do, there is bound to be a few simple layouts??!! :)

And on to Part 2 :
This next card is for the current challenge at Blogabella. I haven't even laid eyes on this stamp since last December. (that's how barried my Christmas stamps get. Lol) But anyways, I like how it turned out :
I even flocked the white trim on the clothes!! Too cute!!

Quick Tip :
Have you ever stamped an image that you wanted to color with your Copic markers, and it hasn't turned out very clear?
Well, that's what happened to me today. So I thought I would share my solution - just in case you don't know... there is something called a Copic Multiliner - best thing in the world!!
I used it to fill in the missing stamp lines :
Voila!! It's super thin so I can use it on almost all of my stamped images. Love it!!

Here is a picture of the Copic colors I used today :
Well, I hope you enjoyed my cards and a little quick tip!! Hope I have inspired you to dust off the 'ol Christmas supplies and get creating!! Have fun!!

Bellarific Friday

Happy Wednesday Everyone,

It feels like Sunday for me because my husband is home this morning. We took the day off to go and visit my mom's trailer in the U.S. It's only about a 45min drive so we thought we would go and visit her and enjoy this beautiful weather. We are going at about noon so I had a bit of time this morning to play with my crafts. I created this card for the Bellarific Friday Challenge. Here's their sketch :

And here's what I came up with :

This little cutie has been sitting in my stash just waiting to be inked up for about 2 years. Poor stamp. ;) But today is her day. I colored her with copics and layered her on some DCWV patterned paper. Gave her some stickles sparkles and that's that. I did flip the sketch because I wanted the sparkles to flow from her hand and it wasn't working the other way... hopefully this still counts as following the sketch??

Anyways, I'm off to enjoy this gorgeous weather and some good old fashioned family time. Keep your fingers crossed that we don't have any trouble going through the border!!

Just a Quick One

Hello, crafting friends!!
Happy Thursday.

I have a quick card to post today. It's super busy today around our house so I'll make this post short and sweet and to the point!!

**editted**
I wanted to mention that I also made the top 4 at the Play Date Cafe!!
Yippee!! and thanks!!!

Here is a card a whipped up for a few challenges.
My jumping off point was the Mojo Monday sketch
and I used an adorable image from Stampin' Bella for the "Anything Goes" challenge
and it can be used for the current challenge at The Pink Elephant : invitations
I heat embossed the orange paper - it's kinda shiny in the picture (sorry!!) but the ice cream images is REALLY cute in real life!!

Okay well, gotta run!! Hopefully I'll be back later to post some more but that's all for now!!

Well, it's half way over... and that means we are on cruise control to the weekend!! Yeah!!
Yesterday I spent the day at home with my daughter because she has a bad cold and didn't go to school. I had time to do a few cards and here's how they turned out!!

This is for the :
challenge over at the CARDS blog. (mix fabric and valentine's to make a card)
Stamping Royalty - valentine's
and
the Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab

It's been awhile since I pulled out the 'ol sewing machine, so excuse the stitching!!

And here is a card I made using the sketch challenge over at The Sweet Stop :

Love the fresh paper for this circle card!!
(Come bakc and check out tomorrows post for what I did with the scraps!!)

And for the sketch over at Card Patterns
and
Bella Challenge - Lovely Dovey
(I just love this girl. She's so cute and smitten)

The copics I used :
I love how this turned out. Not a typical colour combo for me but I think I love purple and orange together. The paper was an incredible inspiration!! Love it!! (If I do say so myself??!!)

Have a good day and just remember - the worst half of the week is behind us!!
