Been WAY too long!!!

Hey everyone,

So it has been way too long since I have posted anything. My blogging fell off of the face of the earth by I haven't. I have been really busying working and haven't had a lot of time for crafting. It's been one of my goals to get back in to it this year. It brings me soooo much joy and I need to carve out time to do what fills my heart. We moved back at the end of April and I actually have some of my supplies pulled out.

So this morning I worked on a few different cards. I am submitting this card for the Frame It challenge over at Incy Wincy Designs.  http://incywincydesigns.blogspot.ca

It was just a quick bit of time but here is one of the cards that I came up with :

I love how this card turned out. It is a Whipper Snapper image and some old MME paper. I used my Tombow watercolour markers to color the image. What do you think? I would love to know.

It's been too long!

So I know I haven't made any posts in a while. Life gets busy and I know it's no excuse but hey, I'm here now to show some of the crafty things that I have been working on. Hopefully I will be posting more often now because my lovely DH just gave me an iPad for my birthday and I am using it now to make this post. Fingers crossed, it turns out ok.

Where should I start? I have been busy with classes at Precious Memories. This is the class that is coming up this week. If you can make it, we would love to see you.

And here are some cards that I have finished in the last little bit. I will be adding them to my Etsy store soon, so stay tuned for that.

I have been dabbling into the world of mixed media lately so I will share a canvas that I have been working on soon.

Bright and Cheery and Super Girly

Hey Everyone,

I have a couple of cards that I want to share today. They are super bright and colorful and girly. I LOVE owls and this paper pad was my jumping off point. It's from K & Company and I've had it forever. I guess I've been hoarding the cuteness!!

Using my NEW Momenta Metals

Eastery Goodness

With Easter just around the corner I knew I had to sit down today and get some more Easter cards done. It was fun to be able to craft and enjoy a good rainy day inside.

Here's what I came up with.

This first card I created using the sketch at I Spy

I actually stitched this card, which is a rarity for me because that would mean I would have to drag out the sewing machine... and that just doesn't happen very often, but today it was already downstairs and ready so I took advantage.

It was really fun.

All of the supplies for this card are Momenta products.

 (except the ribbon which came from the dollar store)

This card is for my 6month old niece so I was okay that it kinda had a baby feel.

And for card #2, I used the scraps from card one and created another similar card :

I went horizontal with this second card.
